A friend of ours saw this picture and couldn't believe it. Not the tasteful pose by Willow, or my amazingly glossy black coat, but our toy rabbit. Rabbit was found by Chloe in Jeff's loft earlier this year, Jeff had no idea where he'd originally come from, and Willow took a liking to him. But by an amazing twist of fate, our friend's son had lost him many years back when he was little, and being a handmade toy, he was unique, and they had since been searching for years to find him! Turns out Rabbit is in fact Nugget! The two are now happily reunited and we wish Rabbit lots of luck in his new home.
Greetings dog lovers. Willow here. Let me tell you: Every day's an adventure here at Chloe & Jeff HQ, and today was no different. We were busy sniffing around the woods on our walk, when suddenly our pack numbered one more! A beagle had joined our gang and we couldn't see a human without a lead on anywhere. Pippin & I were rudely made to walk on one lead (Pip kept treading on my feet and breathing her stinky breath on me), while Little Beagle got to wear mine, and come on the walk with us. After the walk we went to the vets, but were really pleased when only Little Beagle had to get out. Apparently he wasn't chipped (not being chipped is SO last century, people!) so he had to stay at the vets until his humans came to find him. Which eventually they did. We were quite relieved as we don't believe we get enough food as it is, so we couldn't possibly have shared it with a third party. Phew.
In Down Under it gets really hot. Today Cousin Scooter told us it was 40 degrees, so Chloe's brother waters him so he doesn't wilt. Perhaps he might get fertilised too with horse manure later in the season. Lucky Scooter.
New year's eve was a pretty wild affair. We got to stay up late and eat left over veg and chicken with...wait for it...GRAVY. Yep, we know how to see the new year in with style.
