Well it's taken us a while to get back on the blog, we lost our mojo for a while after both our girls left for the Rainbow Bridge, but we're back, just as they would want us to be. And we've started up a club! We decided to take the local oldies for days out on the weekends, starting with Fritz and Pancha, two rescued houndies from Spain. We've been having a great time going here there and everywhere! We hope you enjoy the photos! xx
Hello, Chloe here. It is with a broken heart that I share the news that our brave, gentle, precious Pippin passed away peacefully in our arms. You will find our tribute to her on the left. No words will ever describe sufficiently the joy & love our two girls brought us from the second we adopted them. They were our treasured babies, the light of our lives & we will miss them with all our hearts. Thank you to everyone who has followed their antics over the last 12 years, the love you have all had for them has meant so much to us.
In their honour we will continue to help rescue, rehome & fundraise for doggies in desperate need, and I'll share those stories here. I hope Pip & Wiz won't mind me taking their place as the Chloe & Jeff blogger- hopefully they will be reading from the Rainbow Bridge.
Peace, love & waggy tails to you all.
This is Gracie, an oldie like me! My mum Chloe rescued her from an Italian shelter where she had lived for 12 years, having been dumped there as a puppy as she only had one eye. My mum said this only made her more beautiful & unique.
After she arrived she stayed with us for one night and then we took her to her wonderful new forever home in a place called Grimsby, in a place called Up North. Gracie is so happy now and even has 3 fur-sisters!
Here's a picture of us both having a snooze and of me sniffing her. She didn't mind at all!
Chloe would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to Gracie's transport bill, she couldn't have done it without you! xx
Well, summer is here and that means only one thing...chillaxing in my favourite spot in the garden!
Enjoy the weather, everyone! xx
This is Teddy, and my mum Chloe saw him in a Romanian shelter where he wasn't being treated very nicely, so she paid to get him out and into a safe shelter. Then she asked her friend at Lea Valley Rescue UK if she would help find a home for him, so now Teddy is in England. YAY! Teddy is about 7, too young and active to be around a wobbly old girl like me, but the perfect family member for one lucky family out there!
If you have a Teddy shaped space in your home, please contact Yasmina at Lea Valley Dog Rescue on:

PS: This is how Teddy looked in the horrible shelter, he was very skinny; I'm so happy he is out of there and in foster in London, I really hope we can find him a forever home like mine!
More next month,
Love Pippin xx
Well the humans get their chocolate eggs at Easter, but I get my absolute favourite...SCRAMBLED EGGS!!
Jeff has been renovating a little classic pick-up truck so we went along to support him at his first classic car show. But really there was only one black glossy beauty at this show! And there were admirers a plenty!
Have a great weekend everyone! xx
Daffodils, mascari, birds collecting twigs for their nests... It's a beautiful time of year. When the sun started to shine at the beginning of each spring, Willow would always make her way to the window to sunbathe, so now I'll just sit here a while and think of her. Oh, and I'm in my special double harness, just like Willow's, as now I struggle to get up without help. I'm hoping someone might invent magic back legs for Labradors...I think they'd make a fortune. xx
A favourite from the archives! Everyone thinks Chloe & Jeff put us in this position but we really were sleeping like this! It was one of our favourite ways to sleep. I miss having Willow to snore with me, but everyone makes sure I am so well loved and never on my own. That's real love. Happy Valentine's day everyone and remember: Adopt don't shop :-) xxx
Hi! We're Pippin & Willow, Chloe & Jeff's rescued labradors. We keep an eye on everything here at C&J HQ, and now you can enjoy following our antics here on our blog. Woof!
